Back-Blip #3

This is my Father-In-Law, P. I don't often do portraits especially the "Say cheese, click, flash" type pictures or "school photos". In this case he chose not to say cheese. (still used the flash though).

This was taken on a night an old friend of mine, J, visited after not seeing each other for 18 years. We met on a trip to Lourdes back in '88 and became pen pals there after. I visted her in London a couple of times during my student days, but we lost contact throught the usual moving on, moving house, moving into marriage etc. BUT thanks to the www we regained that contact and remained so through FB & email.

A day I'll never forget.
