Knole

Travelled up to Sevenoaks to visit an old friend, Alison, who is in a care home.  She had a stroke a couple of years ago and is 97 years old today.  She is as bright as a button mentally but never recovered the use of her left arm or leg, so is in need of a lot of care.   I did a quick visit to Knole before going to visit her - lovely to see the deer enjoying the late sunshine.
My South African friend, Rose,  was there too so I collected her and we drove back to the 'black hole', Alison's old house where there is neither mobile reception nor internet - hence the lack of any blips or comments for over a week.  Sincere apologies, but I doubt I will be able to 'catch up'.
