Great Spotted Woodpecker

This is a lazy blip today, which was taken from inside the house, it was one of those times I couldn't face getting wet again   -  the birds of course had no choice but to come out to eat.  We haven't seen the Woodpecker family all summer but recently we've been getting regular visits again.

Thank you to everyone who congratulated me on posting my 2000th blip yesterday, it hardly seems anytime at all since I joined the merry band of Blippers and here I am, quite an old hand at it now. :-)
