A Walk in the Woods
A chilly but reasonably bright day today. After lunch we went for a walk in Sutherland's Grove, at Barcaldine, which was quiet and peaceful with occasional bursts of sunshine. The most remarkable thing tho' was the shortage of water! The wonderful gorge carved out by the burn was almost waterless - I've never seen the Abhainn Teithil so low. I suppose that the water is being held back up at the reservoir. It's strange to be so dry when there's such serious flooding elsewhere.
