Parked for winter

It was unseasonably warm today. Temperatures hit 60 on this winter day in January. What does all this mean? Are they effects of global warming? Whatever the reason, taking my Mini Cooper out for a spin was the highlight of my day considering I've been cleaning up after a roof leak. An ice damn dam caused water to rush into my office and it just barely missed damaging my computer and thousands of photos.

Just when you think you can manage your daily routine, something like this takes the most out of you.

And still, I'm grateful for the things in my life!!
