Autumn walk in Epping Forest

Today I took my usual Sunday walk with Zeus09smum and Zeus.  The sky was blue, the sun shining and it was not raining, which was a definite plus, although the ground is still muddy enough to warrant wellies with well cleated soles.
As always, Autumn colourwise  is quite late to arrive around here so there was still plenty of colour to enjoy this morning.  Only a phone pic today but still quite pleasing.  In extras is a shot of Zeus just about getting in the picture: he is rather reluctant to be photographed, like a lot of animals I know!
