Warhorse

Last weekend a sculpture was unveiled in town in remembrance of the animals who lose their lives during conflict. This soldier and horse have been sculpted locally and the horse is made of horseshoes. Under are temporary wreathes of remembrance of red poppies but the sculpture and the purple poppies are permanent. A beautiful addition to the town. On a less positive note this morning’s service was almost diverted as those who open up the Abbey found the locks superglued shut. Words fail me...Happily
