The big squeeze

Well, we managed it. Cleared the centre of the room and fitted eight mismatched chairs round the garden table. We had a great evening in good company, waving people off at 1 a.m. Sadly, although the dishwasher worked when the plumber tested it before leaving, its revival was short-lived; it stopped working again as soon as I tried to do some actual washing up in it yesterday. So after everyone left, we had to wash up. But there wasn't as much as there might have been since we didn't have enough crockery and cutlery for more than one course, so S had to wash up repeatedly during the course of the evening. This is the only photo I've taken in two days -- I think I need to up up my game!
