All part of a happy weekend.

Some years ago one of my oldest friends Gus managed to somehow meet Johanne, and Johanne came with Emma who was then maybe 10.

I'm not sure Gus knew what he was letting himself in for as taking on Emma comes with its challenges.

She funny, happy, witty, cheeky, clever and the centre of attention wherever she goes. She"s also so loving that she's a lesson to us all. She may be little but she fills the room, and she has a passion for fine dining as as she told the waitress at the pub last night her meal was 'not terrible' [it was actually great food!]

I've not laughed and smiled so much in the company of one so young for a long time.

And yes she has Downs but, so what.
