Risotto

Today I have spent most of the day freezing cold, but I am sure I am not the only one. I rode Purdey again (see last Saturday's blip) and we had a really good lesson. I cannot wait to do it again! After tucking her into her rugs I shivered my way home and got straight in a hot bath prepared by T. Despite the cold I am so glad I went, when I woke up this morning I almost stayed under the duvet.

Rather than another shot of Purdey I took a photo of today's dinner: home made mushroom risotto which included dried mushrooms picked in Sweden by my parents, a small salad with dressing which included pomegranate vinegar from Mr and Mrs Meek and a glass of Craggy Range NZ Sauvignon Blanc. A lovely dinner thanks to friends and family - all made from things we had in the cupboard. That is what I like about making risotto.
