G is doing a school project on World War 2. As part of her research I asked my Grampa if he had any old artefacts from the war. He has a picture of Mussolini hanging which I thought was a bit grim for a school project. The other item was a copy of a newspaper from 6 January 1943 from when he was aboard the Queen Mary when it was being used as a troops ship.

Some of the stories were about raids, Nazi strongholds and bomb attacks in France. Bizarrely, after talking about serious war stories the last item is for invites to enter the deck tennis competition.
