The Leaf Problem in Michigan

What is the problem with an early November snowstorm? WE STILL HAVE LEAVES ON THE TREES...THAT'S THE PROBLEM!

We always wait until all of our leaves fall before we pick up them up. But this year, the snow has covered them up, and I don't know if the snow is going to melt so that we can do the job.
