some balance to the recent destruction

In a larger town where I shop there are many historic homes and buildings that are preserved. Here is a pretty Victorian mansion that overlooks a river valley and forested bluffs beyond that. A lovely day here with unusually warm temperature. I saw 8 bald eagles on the drive home.
