Bubble fun...

....by the Tate Modern today. Very slippery underfoot but loads of fun for these children. Their laughter and shrieks were so infectious!

We took the train to London Bridge and began our afternoon at Borough Market which at lunchtime, was heaving with visitors. Then we continued walking along the river, past the Globe theatre towards Southbank. Everywhere was busy today! A certain season is clearly fast approaching.

We stopped for a coffee in the Royal Festival Hall where there is a jazz festival at the moment. My extra is of a very interesting embroidery collage of key dates in history and we spent some time looking at that.

The market stalls under Hungerford Bridge by the London Eye were lighting up as we headed for Charing Cross station and home. A good afternoon and only 45 minutes away.
