Hag Stones

I've been collecting these for years without knowing their supposed magical properties - presumably I was just following some kind of atavistic folk-memory. Apparently since Black Magic cannot cross running water, stones that have been worn through by the action of running water become powerful repositories for protection against Black Magic. The boxfull in the bottom of my wardrobe must be plenty good luck...
