Plaza de Espana

Built in the Maria Luisa Park in 1928 for the Ibero American Exposition of 1929.Spent the morning walking around and the afternoon at the cathedral.
Wish we had spent more time in the plaza.The interior of the cathedral was disappointing which is probably the wrong word, shocking might be a better word.The display of wealth overwhelming.Christopher Columbus is buried here.
The extras are pictures taken around the park.The ceramics are used extensively and are beautiful.
