Travelling home
We said our sad farewells to Scarista in Harris this morning. Jeremy drove Lesley, Peter and me to Stornoway where Peter and I were on the 1200 flight to Glasgow. Stornoway is a tiny airport but security was very tight. I was searched very thoroughly!
Our flight was only 40 minutes long. I was out of the airport quickly, onto the airport bus, into the station and onto a train. At Carlisle I walked briskly and just made it onto the Hexham train. All this meant that I was home much earlier than I expected.
My blip is taken as we flew over mainland Scotland. The snowy mountain tops were magnificent.
So it’s all over bar the editing!
