A face...

...to go with the name. This is Max, our so wonderful landlord and friend who takes us with him on outings in the mountains. I believe I have mentioned before that he is retired and spends probably at least 4 days a week out doing different mountain sports. He is always in a really good mood and tells us jokes to help us improve our french. He also makes movies of every outing we go on to send to our families so that they won't think we're bored (as if!). Today we skinned up to Lac du Bozon (on a groomed cross country ski trail) for lunch and skied back down to the village. Another wonderful day in Savoie with Monsieur Max.
