Up In The Air
OK- year another from the air - but it is one of the joys of flying when you can choose what you see! This is an aerial view of some famous caverns in New Mexico near Carlsbad - where we saw the sunset a few days ago. This time we flew right past on our way to stop somewhere else for fuel. I didn’t see any ground feature like this on the whole trip and wonder (Kevin) why this relief would give rise to underground caverns that are apparently spectacular to see!
Apart from that a lovely sunny day to complete our 2,300 nautical mile round trip - that’s 4,250 Km for us Europeans - unless of course you are a European pilot and then you would still measure in nautical miles! Good to be home!
