Another day in the life....

....of Orla.

Of course there was a pub involved. I had the day off work so we went to lunch with my Mum and Dad. I've been to this pub many times on my pushbike over the past 30 years but they've recently opened a kitchen so we had to check it out. Proper old fashioned inside, one half is now a restaurant and the other half is for the regulars and farmers. It's been a pub since 1850 and we were sad to see it closed for 5 years when the owners sold up, glad it reopened.

Good traditional pub grub went down a treat and the portions nearly beat us and three of us only had "light-bites".

A miserable day weather wise but I've loved the day off with my little family back at home.
