Beşiktaş

With no class to teach, I stayed home and ploughed through an impressive mountain of paperwork until 16.15 when I packed up and went walking around the plateau for an hour on this very fine day. 

The photo was taken a few hours later in "Joker 19" bar in Besiktas, where Graham and I ended up for dinner and drinks, after wandering around for a while. A lively, noisy, vibrant place that the photo does not do justice to. Must try harder.
