Three happy snappers

Another frosty start followed by a gorgeous sunny day. This morning the three of us climbed Battleship Hill, above Dunollie, and enjoyed the amazing view in all directions - snowy peaks, shimmering blue sea and the town spread out beneath us.

After lunch I went up to Appin and as the tide was out I squelched over the beach in an attempt to get a good low sun picture of Castle Stalker, but I couldn't get round far enough to see the sun on the left face of the castle - the sea gets in the way!

I did have a brief chat with this trio of serious photographers. One was from Woking (where I was born), another from Forres and the third didn't say!
