A gloriously coloured season leaf, suitably abstracted, straight out of the camera without any post production tweaking whatsoever.

I've had to backflip this shot, as I spent Thursday evening at a black tie event for work.  I have only one more of these things left before my retirement next spring, at which stage I rather suspect that I will never need to wear a dinner jacket and tie a bow tie ever again.  

Last night's speaker was Dr Philip Hammond, a GP and comedian, who has occasionally been on the TV and radio.  He was exceptionally funny :-)
