Spring will come ...

Today was a day spent outdoors. It was a good day.

I spent some of the time in the garden. Much of that was choosing a location for three apple trees waiting to be planted out. Such an optimistic task which involved lots of looking and thinking and adjusting but made it. Planting out will happen after the promised snow has passed.

Inspired by other blippers, I went in search of signs that spring was coming. There are lots of them. In fact, I got so absorbed that I had to remind myself to take photos! In the end though, I had lots to choose from.

Eventually, I settled on a drop of water on the tip of a sedum/saxifrage leaf - never been able to tell which is which.

Spring will come.
