The King of the river...

Having been poorly over the weekend.
I was in desperate need of rest and relaxation.
I'm not one to sit at home and rest.
Life's journey mentioned going out with our cameras.
So ai took her up on her offer.
We headed to the river Stour, knowing a kingfisher had been seen recently.
Our usual route in was badly flooded. So we had to turn back.

We tried out some other local lakes which was rather windy and not much about.

Stopping for lunch. We decided to head back to the Stour but via a different route in.

We managed to get through the flooded field and mud to the kingfisher.

We weren't disappointed. Totally worth today's run around lol lol
