Telephone and Elephant

I saw these two in a cafe and I could swear I heard them talk!

Telephone: You are very colourful today,

Elephant: It's such a grey day I chose my brightest colours. A young man in a suit smiled at me. I think I made him happy.

Telephone: That's very nice! I like to try and make people who come here smile. At the end of each day, I count how many people smiled when they saw us.

Elephant: It's funny. They have so much to be happy about yet they often look very sad.

Telephone: I know. It's a good thing we're here to cheer them up.
