Flu Jab day (not 2018!)

I reluctantly put aside my slightly gruesome crimmy novel this morning to go and do an errand at Cameron Toll for a friend. 
I ended up going a very roundabout way on busses. People getting on and off of busses, people passing in the streets, car and van drivers passing the busses, they all seemed to me suspiciously criminal. Oh dear, I should read romance or something.
In the afternoon I had an appointment with a nurse for a flu jab. 
My first. 
I decided this year to have one and test the waters. This was with my nurse who can stick any needle in me without me feeling a thing, she's great. I've known others in the past who like to make a meal out of needle inserting and make it as sore as they can.
