Hoan Kiem Lake

We arrived in Vietnam late morning along with three others on our trip. Despite feeling rather tired we ventured out for a couple of hours trying to find our way to Hoan Kiem Lake before our official meeting with the rest of the group. In hindsight we did fairly well as it’s no easy task dodging the numerous scooters, bikes and cars. A lot of helpful directions and we found our way to the lake with the Ngon Son temple on the other side approached via the red lacquered Huc Bridge. After finding our way back to the hotel we had our group meeting followed by a very nice meal at a local restaurant.
