Field Maple
A glorious autumn day when I felt strangely disgruntled - possibly because I was unable to make the most of it thanks to a last minute change of plans that was thrust upon me.
I did make time for a short potter round Thorpe Wood, a welcome breath of fresh air, but with little new in the way of fungi. The clear golden leaves of field maple always provide a lift to the spirits.
