Missed the last train

These runners are too late because the last passenger train left the station in September 1951. This is part of the Dalkeith to Penicuik cycleway at Rosslyn Castle Station. Originally the railway was used by the local paper mills and the gunpowder mill at Roslin but the line was closed completely in 1967 and today was being enjoyed by these runners as well as walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
