Working with the Flash

My favorite model allowed me a few shots to experiment with the flash. This shot had some weird shadows due to the onboard flash triggering with the remote flash (sooc in extras.) The combination of light from the side with light right in front created a strange jagged line. I was able to blend them in PS. 
The other extra is using a stand light. It is a very inexpensive light but the result seems more natural.
