After dropping L off at school and spending the morning WFH and packing my overnight bag and my kilt bag I departed later than planned for the drive south to Liverpool.

Arrived at my hotel around 7pm and after dropping bags off I popped out to get some steps in and explore my surroundings.

I’m bang in the middle of all the shops and pubs etc and quickly found the Cavern Club so grabbed a munch (got third degree burns from a meat skewer) then popped in for a pint.

This was St George’s Hall which was opposite my hotel and was in the midst of getting the Xmas market set up. I guess this was the wheel.
