From a Distance

If all November days were like today, it would be in the running for my favourite month. With hardly any wind, but a nip in the air and the clearest light, the views across to the North were beautiful. I had taken my big lens in the hope of getting some bird shots of our winter visitors but it was not to be. I was surprised how many fungi were still around on the roadside verges.
