Peacocks

An afternoon walk around Castle Howard and the peacocks were in the courtyard strutting their stuff.

They were a bit spooked by Jasper who was barking at them from a distance and they wouldn't keep still.

I was very excited to see them as I thought they could be an entry for the Blip Big Year Challenge but I am not sure whether they would be classed as a 'wild' bird. Still worth a try and let Anth the organiser decide.
