Tower, this is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby.
Had a lovely (but cold) day out in Edinburgh with Soozy.
It's funny how some days find you really struggling for a blip and others you have a surplus!
Today was one of the latter.
We started the day at the Edinburgh farmers market then headed up towards Tolcross, where we had a nice coffee, then over the Meadows for a spot of lunch at the Mosque kitchen then back towards the city centre. It was just one of those lovely laid back "floaty" days we enjoy.
The funny thing was that our unplanned route took us vie many bicycle shops which was most fortunate for me as I love looking at bikes....not so great for Soozy though...ah well
In the end I settled for this shot of a Prototype Eurofighter Helmet which I snapped in the The National Museum of Scotland when we were in there.
It has Cathode Ray Tubes inside the helmet to project information onto the visor. This allows the pilot to view flight and weapons data without having to look at the instrument panel, manufactured by Scottish BAE Systems around 2005
