. . . and holly!

As always, the leaves on our beech hedge will remain for some time to come yet. It was looking rather fine today, despite the rain. I'm not sure what the holly is doing there, but it did start out as a mixed hedge when we planted it a long while ago and plants in our garden are allowed to do just what they like.

A dank, wet day, but we really can't complain about the rain when one thinks of the flooding elsewhere and the misery it is causing.
