Each of the objects on this little side table has a story attached to it.
The White Eagle book is called The Source of all our Strength and gives a handbag size collection of White Eagle's sayings.
I especially like this one:
"May every day of life find you, when you rise in the morning, opening the windows of your soul to the sunlight. Even in Winter the whole atmosphere is impregnated with tiny atoms of invisible sunlight, and when you breathe deeply, consciously breathing in the sunlight of God, you grow in well being, in loving kindness to all life."
The sparkly angel pendant is from Debenham's sale and the M&S Flowers and Gifts booklet is to ponder over in readiness for Mothers' Day which is early this year, on 10th March. I sometimes use the pictures to make collages.
The pink wafer biscuits are a passion at the moment, and are only 2 syns each. Slimming World lets you indulge in up to 15 syns a day, so that allows several pink wafers.
My friend Lynn was making mini fairy cakes when I popped in earlier and she gave me this pretty pink one. She has a fancy cake making gadget.
I want one!
Maria is going to friend Heather's 18th birthday treat, this evening.
They are going to go for pizza and to the cinema to see Picture Perfect.
Off now to prepare some roast vegetables for our evening meal.
