Nuthatch

We have had a lazy day today which was very nice indeed. I had planned to go and watch the cyclo cross in Peel Park with the hope of blipping mud and unseatedness but I had misread the details and the main events are on tomorrow when we are orienteering. So I did a few jobs, blipped a few birds in the elder tree and then settled down with my book and cup of tea and passed a very pleasant afternoon, rounded off with a walk around St Ives and the Moor with Tony.

I was undecided whether to upload a close up of the nuthatch or the blue tit but I quite like the branches too so this one it is.
