Sleigh Ride
It has been a difficult choice as to which photo to put up for today's offering. The day started with me rushing out into the fields outside our barn to take some photos of the low lying mist in the valley at daybreak. This was followed by an exhausting day skiing (aching legs!). We ended with a sleigh ride at dusk to an almhutte for something to eat. The hut was about 400 years old and very cosy. The stove in the corner was a piece of art in its own right and it was fascinating to watch the lady cook our flambeed Kaiserschmarrn on it. Yum! As there were quite a few of us, we hired two sleighs - this is the second one coming around the corner, with a beautiful red setter sitting in the front. As we rode, the dog would run beside and between the sleighs to make sure everything was going to plan! What a great night!
I backblipped yesterday if you are interested.
