Alas

I have now eaten all the retro sweets that I like from the tin and the only thing left is the Fruity Pops ans a couple of Double Lollies. These can now go off to a good home and it will be another year before I am allowed another tin.

The Parma Violets are my favourites and they still taste as I remember then from when I was a kid although I would think the price may have gone up.

We used to get a sixpence every Sunday to spend in the sweet shop and they had to last you for a week but you got alot of bang for your buck then with eight fruit salads or black jacks or a mixture of both all for a penny.

Got confusing when decimilisation came in though!!.
