Remembering

My sister made me this poppy last year, the centre is the button off my granda's uniform. He died at the end of the war in France of the 'flu epidemic that took so many lives. He never got to see his daughter (my mum) who was only a few weeks old when he died.
My sister's grandson is 8 today, his birthday 11.11.11
