Alpine Model

A fine day out with Al and Liz. For the first time in many trips the M25 and Dartford Crossing played ball and allowed us to complete the journey in even time.

A day of much eating ensued as it always does with a fine lunch of soup and different cheese. In case we were getting a little peckish we had tea and scones but a few hours later and the days was rounded off with a super chilli with loads of accompaniments with an apple and plum tart tatin for afters. Good job we had a walk early this morning.

After lunch we went to Van Hage’s garden centre which, amongst all the almost overwhelming Christmas displays, had this delightful alpine scene. Most realistic.
