I was up town this morning so strolled along to the Remembrance Garden at the Scott Monument just before 11 for the service. Just a small crowd and quite low key but very effective, glad I went.
My dad’s side of the family survived their wars, though not all without injury. Here’s that family group. My mum’s side and S’s family weren’t all so lucky.
