Raised beds ready for vegetables

Today my husband and I have spent most of our day in the garden putting raised beds in. To be fair, my hubby did most of the hard work. I have really enjoyed it, especially when I had to get in and tred the soil down. Reminded me of Pretty woman when she is watching the old film and the woman is tredding grapes in a barrel in the film. We also managed to use our first batch of compost which has been sitting in our compost bin ready to use for a while now. Lets just hope we get a good summer now so that I can reep the benefits... As the old saying goes, reep what you sow!
