High Water

Acqua Alta (High Water) is forecast this morning, with the peak forecast for about 45 minutes after this photograph is taken. The water is already very high and boots will be needed in some parts of the city today.

No boots needed for us, we are on our way to Piazzale Roma where we will be taking the bus over to Marco Polo Airport. Despite the damp start to the day, and the high water we stayed dry. All our boat, bus and plane connections were on time.
