LEST WE FORGET

Ninniex and I went to Kings Park late this afternoon to see the Poppies on display for the Memorial Service that was held this morning to mark Armistice Day - what a display.
15,000 knitted and crocheted poppies positioned in front of the State's War Memorial were eye catching and when looking at an individual poppy your eyes welled up.
A day to remember all those who fought and didn't return - so many.
Lest We Forget 

We are also thinking of those in the eastern states with catastrophic conditions forecast for Sydney and surrounds tomorrow.  Take care all of you.
