Snapseed cow

Terrible weather, so I decided to do a still life and try some new post-processing software at the same time. I'm trying Snapseed by Nik Software. I downloaded the demo, and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised! It was very easy to make this image "pop" compared to the rather flat original, and it has some nice but not overdone vintage/texture filters too.

There's not as much customisation there as Photoshop of course, but it seems to do almost everything I need! I did end up over-sharpening as the preview pane isn't very accurate unless you zoom to 100%.

Weird system requirements though. 4GB RAM recommended? Why so system intensive?
