In for a Penny...

Well, we're certainly getting our share of winter weather in this bit of the west Midlands lately. Yesterday we were covered in a blanket of miserable fog for the whole day. This morning I got up to the sound of heavy rain drumming on the conservatory roof. The rain then turned to large flakes of snow for several minutes before reverting to steady rainfall.

This makes me think about what I'm going to do for my blip today. I certainly don't feel inclined to go out of doors so that means taking something inside. I have some decent close-up equipment which I've never got round to using properly so it's about time I got to grips with it.

Here's my first effort, using my Sunpak ring flash which must be nearly 20 years old. I was pleased to find that it still functions but I think I've got to spend some time learning how to get the exposure spot on.
