Another milestone.....

At last some sunshine.......

We headed off to Dovedale in The Peak District for a walk. Due to the recent rain and flooding we had much of the walk to ourselves. The extra image is that of what should be stepping stones across the River Dove. The water had brought down some large tree branches which were now wedged again the stepping stones. 

We'd crossed the river via the bridge near the car park, but still had to wade through some water to get through. We then walked alongside the river, watching the dippers, to Ilam Rock where we headed up into the woods for the return trip.

So........ 2500 images later and I'm still here. My daily life bound up in ensuring I have a photo to post. Why? Why indeed! It's addictive, it's fun, it gets me out and about. I love to record special days, holidays, ordinary days and just the occasional emergency blip.

And it's been good to share other people's lives all over the world without moving an inch from the sofa!
