Remembrance Sunday

We had a lovely service today. Mr HF spoke about sacrifice starting with those we must never forget for their sacrifice, to the ultimate life changing sacrifice of our Saviour, Jesus Christ! We had 2 minutes silence then Edward, one of our teenagers, played the Last Post, very moving. Pastor Jan also gave everyone the opportunity to come forward and lay a poppy below the cross as we continued to worship. The natural conclusion was to end with Communion as a whole church family. Poignant, powerful and encouraging from start to finish.
